There is a way where we can introduce characters to our story. We need to create a location and a proper background design to produce a nice set up for the established shot.

We can use software such as google sketchup (a 3d application) to assist us in creating a building design or a prepared background. The character has to be properly composed and placed correctly when there is conversation in the animation.

Storyboard can assist an animator to animate the words,expression and other actions that takes place in the story. Here the animators will use their own creativity to bring to live the characters and add movement through voice recording that has been prepared in advance.

Setting Up the Right Mood/Background

A colored storyboard can help an animator and background artist to feel the mood for the dramatic scene. Here there must be careful discussion to prepare for the right execution and bring the correct moment to the story line.

Some sudden and unexpected twist in plot is always welcome. It keeps the audiences in suspense. Here the newspaper report is meant as a comical relief.

This is the character that we introduce in one of 'The Amazing Awang Khenit' episodes. It is called 'Patin Gelok' a creation from an existing famous river fish in Malaysia called Patin Fish.
