First of all, create YouTube channel, Facebook page and telegram channel.

YOUTUBE CHANNEL : create a nice video describing steemit and post it on your YouTube channel after that provide your steemit username in the description side.
Since your video is cool and nice, your YouTube subscribers will join steemit and they will start following you on steemit.

FACEBOOK PAGE: Same as the YouTube process but you can make a good article post or nevertheless a short video.

TELEGRAM CHANNEL : it combines the YouTube channel process with the Facebook page process.
