Just a quick question from someone who wants to contributor quality, original content to this amazing platform... what stops someone from going through Reddit / Facebook / Instagram / Imgur / etc, stealing the top content and re-posting it on Steemit?
I'm pretty sure I've already seen a few people do it already. I guess it's a common trait of social media, but it seems kind of sucky that it could define the content shared on Steemit.
I agree... A lot of content is taken from various social medias. I think that as long as it is credited properly it's ok.
Agree with @orinklev. Also if people don't like your content because of the subject matter they will downvote or flag you so you'll become obsolete. Your reputation matters.
Some people want original content, some people don't mind because then they don't have to go to 6 different sources for their subject matter.
People can flag these posts or include negative comments if noticed .
Maybe there will be a ban option or posts of this kind will be deleted in the future.
