RE: Steemit Statistics – 2017.11.06

I should be happy with a payout of $0.07 on each post? Because at least half of the posts did worse...

This leaves me feeling... discouraged. I hope that people who are getting less than that will take advantage of the many resources that are shared in #steemit #steem, and other locations (or in my own post history) to boost their payouts. Nobody can survive on $0.07 per post.

Yes, one should, because it is way more than what you can earn on any social network.
Ask yourself how much people get from publishing on Facebook or Instagram.

Being successful and getting recognition is a loooong run, even on Steemit.
Fortunately, there are dozens of projects aimed at helping newcomers that focus on quality posts.
And looking at yours, you have been quite successful, isn't it?

I learn new things quickly, have experience in results optimization, and have been willing to invest in promotion. (Over 100 SBD invested in promotion so far, with a roughly 15% profit.)

I worry for new members who don't have the same level of experience or willingness/ability to invest. I do think there are enough resources to help new members that can't invest money if they are willing to invest time, but your statistics indicate that most new members aren't making the effort.

stats indicate less users, less comments, less everything. I am not sure where this is going...

Its true a lot do not do much, its all in the numbers eventually some will become more active and over time more and more will join. You can always promote your post, so for me I invested a few litecoin to get started so now my post get $1 or $2 Just keep posting and replying connect with others have your friends join it all helps over time!
