...and on the Santa Claus front... I don't know about you, but this creation doesn't seem to lift a finger. Parents and elder siblings put forth some effort to see this Santa Claus event happen, if that is their desire and it can be cute and entertaining for the older people and the younger people that are still enveloped within the story.
Yet if Santa Claus were not to be around. Would that mean the parent's and elder siblings' arms and legs are suddenly broken. Are they only fueled by the power of myth? I simply say the answer is no. The gift giving and wonder and excitement could happen with or without a Santa Claus. It is about people. People do the work, people make their own decisions.
Governments serve no purposes except perhaps for those that are so wealthy and powerful that they sit beyond the reach of the government and simply suck in the rewards the government racket funnels their way.
