February 27, 2018 - Weekly Anime Art Feature!

in #stateofthearts7 years ago (edited)

Our first feature this week is a water coloring of of Meliodas from the anime Netflix series Seven Deadly Sins. As part of our initiative we love seeing artist trying new techniques, styles or forms of art for the first time. @pikapika had a great 1st attempt at water colors and shows us a step by step images. The finished product came out clean and does the main character of the show justice with a great rendition.

Our next feature is from @Wanaf with a Goku Pencil to Paint display. He takes us through the some background of his experience with DragonBallVerse and tells us his thought process in the illustration deciding which type of Goku character to do. We love seeing people bringing us along in their experience of creating their art work. We can see step by step how the artist came to final product.

Our final feature is @Artbyclark’s speed drawing of Tsunayoshi Sawada. Artbyclark provides us with an image of the supplies used. A reference image, great speed drawing video, and step by step images lead is to a nice looking final product. We appreciate him involving us in the experience of creating his art.
