Finally! My first factions compared post! I have been working on creating an idea of a series like this and I finally got it.

Here's my introductory post to the series

Today we are going to be talking about two of the pistols that were in use during the Clone Wars. The first which belongs to the clones is the DC-17. However the Droid's postol is the SE-14.

We'll start off with the DC-17. The DC-17 was a great blaster pistol produced by Blastech. It was a blaster pistol that was the main pistol for clone troopers. Many ARC troopers and high ranking clones used them.

Attributes

The best attributes of the weapon were the facts that it was compact, had a great firing rate, not much recoil, and it could penetrate droid's armor with ease. A lot of clone troopers that use the pistol have noted that the pistol is really powerful for its size.

It was used by Jet troopers pretty well, and as I mentioned before often was used by high ranking clones like Commander Rex. One of its other strengths is the ability to be customized and dual wielded.

The only weakness of this weapon was that it couldn't be used for very long at a time. However Rex seems to have upgraded his so he could get around this though.

The SE-14 was a blaster pistol made by Blastech, (I know they trade to both sides!), that was used in the Droid army mainly as a backup weapon. Blastech was forced to deny that they made the weapon since they were mainly aligned to the Republic.

Attributes

It's best attribute is its great rate of fire. It was a very simple design, not having anything unnecessary.

The SE-14 was one of the only blaster pistols that the droid army due to them usually using the E-5 as their primary weapon. A lot of droid used it as their backup weapon though.
