If you haven't heard, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic (KotOR) is an amazing game.
The cover below features Darth Malak, Bastilla, the always beloved HK-47, and the Ebon Hawk.
The graphics aren't too shabby for it being released in 2003 by BioWare and LucasArts. Today, it is available on PC, Xbox 360, iOS, and Android. I have it on my phone ($9.99) and it's a perfect pocket version of the game.
The easy to navigate screen allows a quick use to a variety of items from a rich inventory and many different force powers that are dependent on your choices in-game. You can also scroll through your party, directly playing as characters other than your custom character, all of which have leveling characteristics and powers that you choose.
The main plot is one of my favorite Star Wars stories. There are optional missions throughout the many worlds you wonder, if that's what you're into.
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords is the sequel to KotOR, to sum it up, it's pretty good. I don't know if there is a third game in the works, but it would be the only game I would pre-order. If you ever find a loose Hamilton along the sideway, or under your couch cushion; I highly recommend spending your time playing this game.
Thanks for reading!
wow @papaunewguinean awesome sounds like you are also a dedicated Star Wars fan! I am too young and did not even know about Star Wars when this game came out! Too bad now I don't the proper console for it!
Both of these games are great! Unfortunately, we probably won't see a "third installment" since most people consider the MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic to be the third game in the series. It's still fairly successful and very fun; I spent many hours on it a few summers ago. There's lots of room for more development of Old Republic lore in games, so I sure hope we see another game like this in the future!
