Ando Prime. I’ve zoned out, avoiding icicles in this ice cave of blue. Gliding perfectly over the ice in my podracer, not even scraping the sides. I’m so in-tune with my racer, my fingers fly across the controls without so much as a click of brain activity. So, this is what it feels like to use the force.

The lap is complete, one more to go. But I don’t remember completing it. My opponents are so far behind me, I forgot I was even in a race. In theory, if I win, I’ll obtain Aldar Beedo’s racer, but this fact barely registers. For now, I simply lose myself in the speed and wind in my hair.

My goggles tight against my eyes, and the rush of air deafens my ears. But I love it. Over the ice now and losing traction. But I’ve done this circuit so many times, I decide to mix it up a little by trying to make it through the tiny crack within the boulder I’m careening towards. As I drift towards the gap, my racer is perpendicular to the direction I was facing just a second before. I glide effortlessly through the hole and literally glide five meters onto the next plane of ice.

Again, zig zagging through the hazardous maze of icicles. My body exuding so much confidence a visible trail might be seen behind me. As the finish line comes into view, I aim for the middle of the track, facing down a barrier that can only be crossed non-fatally if line up perfectly with a hole the perfect size of my racer. The buzzer blares as I cross the line in first place, my racer soars into the air, through the impossible hole and out the other side. Spirits soaring, my pod whizzing. So, this is what it feels like to use the force.
