With so much division over Star Wars: The Last Jedi, I wanted to put out a positive post, and I encourage you to join the conversation.
Sure, there are some parts of the universe as a whole that I think are silly, or pointless, but that has never jaded my overall love of it.
I love the Mandalorian culture. I love the clones. I love the droids. I love the Old Republic. I love the EU origins of the Jedi and Sith. And there's so much more! And those aspects of the universe as a whole are the ones I celebrate the most.
There are a ton of Expanded Universe/Legends stories, new canon movies, comics, books, and TV shows - so much great content - there really is something for everyone.

Man, like, everything? I love the diversity and the imagination that went into all the species and the cultures in it, and the beautiful scenery!
I love the story as well, and the theme of outer space totally captures my imagination too!
