Spanish fintech firm Fence has raised €1.8 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Semantic.vc. The round, led by VCs Crane Earth and Actyus, has attracted 4 million commitments.
The funding will enable Fence to further invest in development and technology, expand its operations and service more banks, private debt funds and fintechs across Europe.
The company plans to double its team in Madrid this year. Fence, which has been in operation since 2023, is the beneficiary of a financing agreement of up to 20 million euros between BBVA Spark and Payflow.
