I have always wondered what it would be like to fly. As a kid, I used to pretend that I was an airplane, a bird, anything that flew through the air. I ran through the yard with my arms spread out like an airplane, simulating weird engine noises whenever I would make a turn or go into a steep dive.

And the dream of flying like a bird is still there. Yes, I know what you are thinking. Skydiving is there to fulfil everyone’s dream to fly like a bird. But if you think about the cost. It’s quite expensive and if people have height phobia like me then it’s a dream to them which will never come true.

But for people like me or for the kids if we get a chance to fly in the sky without going outdoors, how nice it will be! Just Think about that. Sounds crazy right?

Battery Low Interactive introduced the real feel of Skydiving through Virtual Reality Technology for the first time in Bangladesh in their commercial campaign of “Black Horse Energy Drink”. This is the largest VR campaign in Bangladesh which was run among 65 universities & colleges.

It’s a skydiving game where the user can feel the real experience of falling from the sky using an oculus rift. The player moves and glides around using oculus rift as a controller, so he only has to rotate his head and body towards different directions to move towards them. He has to collect “Black Horse Energy Drink” to survive as he loses health while touching different obstacles like rocks, hills, planes or other companies energy drink etc. The motto of this game is to preach the slogan of Black Horse Energy Drink that Anything is Possible. While playing this game user feels more connected to the object and brands motto. Because while playing this game, it impacts on players psychology about the brand which is part of an effective marketing.

Overall, Virtual Skydiving is a VERY fun indoor skydiving experience, with a somewhat less engaging VR experience tacked on top. It’s an amusing approximation of real skydiving.
