welcome to the modern reality of life

Decades ago things were different; indeed hundreds of years ago the average person was likely to learn everything in their entire lifetime if they could read one newspaper.
This mans people accepted certain things and did not think to much outside their socio-economic status group.
Today people no longer accept the status quo as normal; today we can detect the wobble of distant Suns that have planets surrounding them...
Decades ago a man sat in contemplation he wrote this formula number of stars multiplied by number of likely planets multiplied by number of galaxies multiplied by number of Solar systems etc gives rise to the likelihood of extraterrestrial life.
Today we know Earth sits in the Goldilocks zone of space that allows a stable environment for life to develop. But with the millions of galaxies and billions of solar systems we cannot have any clue to our uniqueness...
Indeed when a huge massive star explodes it has so much weight it collapses inwards and inverts gravity. Gravity goes wild and a black hole is formed, over millions of years these black holes suck up planets and stars and gradually enter the middle of galaxies; this extra gravity causes many galaxies to spiral since black holes combine and tug everything into a spiral.
Today we are no longer amazed by much but imagine if you can a black hole that can bend light, capture radio waves and distort space forever, so while you are no longer impressed by the internet such a cosmic event must at least cause you to stop and pause and consider life in general...
