Strawless come into full swing

in #starbucks6 years ago

A lid with a drinking mouth waves.

A prohibiting the use of plastic straws and forks etc was enforced in Seattle. It is unlikely that this impact will not be in Starbucksheadquartered in Seattle, and plastic straws will be abolished from Starbucks around the world by 2020.

A new lid with a drinking mouth is proposed. In stores in the US and Canada, it has already been provided as a lid that turns into a straw.

About 1 billion straws can be reduced by this measure every year. Straws and cutlery that tend to be portable as it is because of its small size will be left as marine garbage. The new lid is recyclable, and it is still good to unify the garbage if you do not bother to separate the lid and the cup and throw it away.

The end of the disposable plastic age approaches steadily.

Such a great substitute, little changes like this will make a huge impact around the world! I am very interested in the curation of new inventions and engineered products such as this as I love playing around in programs like Solidworks, 3-D Printing, and Design. Thank you for the post @mytechcrunch, upvoted and followed! Keep on Steeming!

that's great... thanks for sharing your interest on this topic @noahcramos

its cool no more turtles getting stabbed with straws! but still think starbucks can really do much better like making cups that naturally biodegrade like the plantain bag
