Disney sure knows how to squeeze every penny out of people. I'm a Florida resident and have my yearly pass and I've noticed how Hollywood Studios has basically changed into Star Wars land.
My wife was born and raise not too far from that park so that should be an easy sell for her to go during the steemit meet-up. Are they only building this at the california park or are there plans for one in florida. (sorry if I missed you explaining this in your post)
I went to Disney World once at the age of 5. My brother was sick so I didn't get to ride anything. It was horrible. All I remember is sitting through those Tiki Birds and their annoying song over and over. Now that I'm 31 and have a kid I now have someone to take and ride rides with. I'm so excited for the Star Wars theme! Looks amazing.

I need to go back to Orlando!! Really hoping they have a 'thrill' ride in the new Star Wars area, something as big as Tower of Terror or Yeti.
I have a feeling they will do more of the 3d rides like Universal has. It seems easier and less malfunctions.
As a hardcore star wars fan I say 100% yes to the meet. A bummer that we have to wait until 2019 though
