Matthew 13
- His disciples came and asked Him, "why do you always tell stories when you talk to the people"?
11 . Then he explained to them, " You have been permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven, but others have not.
The Scripture is not different from a story book for a man who is trying to learn from Christ from a distance; but for His disciples, it is a compilation of God's wisdom, and a revelation of His Kingdom. When a man who has no closer walk with Jesus study the scripture, all they see are the stories and the grammar.
Jesus does not reveal His secrete to anyhow person, He only makes His heart known to men who cares to learn at His feet. If you are not a true disciple of the Lord Jesus, all you are permitted to get from His Word is the letter; and the letter killeth. Most of the depth of God's heart are never revealed in the open, they are gotten at the inner chamber.
Even while a message is being preached in the Church, some people hears a usual sermon while some get a lifetime impartation; your relationship with God is what determines your portion. Men who are committed to following God are always specially nurtured by God.
If your Spiritual life will be better than this, you must create enough time to dialogue with God at the inner chamber. Being identified with your Church congregation will only grant you access to scriptural stories, you must be a disciple committed to the inner court with God to enjoy unusual revelation. Jesus is more interested in your secrete place than your Church life. Make a decision now! Enjoy your day.
