ALBUM REVIEW of OSOTheAlbum
OSO- is an album consisting 11 powerful songs by Brymo, with no single collaboration.
Undoubtedly, any conscious human who has listened to Oso-The Album will admit that the album is a great master piece. Before listening to it, after hearing all the controversies trailing his 'Heya' video, one would almost conclude that, the album is wack; but the reverse is the case.
When asked why Brymo went unclad in Heya's video, in his words, he mentioned that he did so because he wanted to tell Nigerians how uncivilised they are but claim to be civilised.

First, Heya is a great work of art, actually revealing how Nigerians have allowed our ignorance to adversely affect us. Going by the lyrics, "Every woman dey look for man, wey go love her right, we go ignore her shortcomings and wey go take her right; and every man dey look for woman wey e go hold tight, but na im Ignorance dey let the love down"

Secondly, Entropy is another germane song on that album that kept me glued to the album. 'Entropy' in the real sense means disorderliness. The song is that kind of love song you'll never expect from a singer like Brymo. Although he said some things in parables that I'll like him to explain when I meet him.

One other song in that album that sets Brymo apart from every other artiste in Nigeria is 'Money Launderers and Heart Breakers'. He tried to infuse politics and love in a song, and for me, it sounded well! It's rare to find a singer like Brymo who are keen to reveal ills in government and our society; in a country where every singer follows the trend and wants to drop that club banger. We definitely need more of Brymo to activate our sub-conscious to some of these things. Apart from Fela and some other older artistes, Brymo is the only artiste who has drawn the courage to tell stories like he did in 'Money Launderers and Heart Breakers'
Other songs that sets Brymo apart include:
-Olanrewaju
-‎No Be Me- reveals all the corrupt practices of our politicians that we pretend as if we don't see.
-‎Mama
-‎Olumo
-‎Time is so kind
-‎Patience and Goodluck
-‎God is in your mind
