We grieve with the families of those killed in this heinous crime. This terrorist act is directed against all mankind and all religions. The Prophet Muhammad (may God reward him with good), defended and protected the Christian monks. The letters of protection of the time from the Prophet and the first caliphs are kept in the Sinai Museum in Egypt. Islam and all world religions stand in solidarity against all violence and terror.
