Well the war on drugs is pretty pointless, as most people who use drugs are self medicating due to various issues, like stress/hormone imbalance/brain chemicals out of balance/ and whatever else that you are naturally born with. Many life situations(nurture) and other things too affect why a person might need and or want drugs, I don't fault anyone for that as it usually is to help fix yourself. Though there are many other ways of doing it that may be better, I can't say what they should do.
Immigration.
We don't help our own citizens almost at all, but we constantly bring in refugees that we just bombed in other countries and illegal immigrants. We create refugee problems with our endless pointless wars and everyone is guilt tripped into thinking we need to bring people back here, when in reality we can help more people if they stay there(and it would be a lot cheaper and they get to stay in their own country).

We do a lot of stupid wars and our debt is huge and everything should be on the verge of collapse. I stopped putting 10% into my 401k and now just do 2% so I can get the company match bonus. I put it in crypto now.
