Hello guys! its been awhile and I'm so sorry that I've been busy but now I'm back for another content on our weekly challenge. Today we are featuring a death card!
Lore
Shadow Snitches are created by the conjurers of the Chaos Legion. Weaving Death magic, they breathe life into beings made completely of darkness. The purpose of the Shadow Snitches is to be deployed into lands prior to the Chaos Legion's invasion. Moving from shadow to shadow, they are listeners and watchers, feeding information back to the Chaos Legion.
But once the invasion is complete, the Shadow Snitches still serve a purpose. They can locate and follow high-value targets, reporting back on movements to Chaos Legion leadership. If needed, Shadow Snitches can also capture prisoners and bring them back for interrogation.
Edition: Chaos Legion
Rarity: Common
Element: Death
Attack: Melee
Abilities: Reach at level 1, Affliction at level 6 and Dodge at level 10
The Death Splinter cards are often overlooked by new players. Maybe it's because its cards don't appear to be particularly powerful at first glance. These players, on the other hand, are missing out. The Death Splinter is a very strong weapon, especially for newcomers. Most rulesets in the lower leagues have low mana costs, and since most monsters in the Death Splinter have cheap mana costs, this can work to our advantage.
RULE SET

Mana Capacity : 23
Available Element : All Elements
THE TEAM
For this battle, since I am going to use the shadow snitch I had chosen Thaddius Brood as my summoner. I know that he will be useful because of -1 magic attack and -1 health he possess to take down his opponents.
Card | Description | - |
---|---|---|
Cursed Windeku- is an excellent tank, which is why I ranked it first. It bears thorns, which deal melee damage to any monster that hits it. | ||
Shadow Snitch -To make use of his Reach ability, he should be in the second position. Despite the fact that he won't inflict much damage, he has adequate health to serve as a backup tank once Windeku is defeated. | - | |
Rift Wing-With three speed and the ability to fly, he's a fantastic dodge tank from Chaos Legion. Aside from that, he has Scavenger, which gives him +1 health whenever a monster dies. | - | |
Silent Sha-Vi I put this card on the last position because of its sneak ability and high damage power. | - |
My Opponent
Summoner:
Pyre was discovered by the Torch on a research expedition into the heart of the Smoldering Forest. Once they deciphered his crude method of communication, they discovered that he was the last of a tribe of forest magicians, and that he possessed the full skills of a summoner, plus some tricks they had never seen. They took the boy and gave him a new life, summoning for the Torch in the Mount Mox tournaments.
Lava Spider(First Position) | Spark Pixies (Second Position) | Tenyll Striker (Third Position) |
---|---|---|
Xenith Monk (Fourth Position) | Elven Mystic (Fifth Position) | Pyre has an ability to add speed to his comrades. The opponent must have chose this because of that. |
On the first round of the battle, Silent Sha-Vi and my Shadow Snitch took down Elven Mystic and Lava Spider on the match. My Rift Wing was given 2 additional health because of that however on the second round, Spark pixies kept on dodging 2 of my attacks and my Silent Sha-Vi got defeated by Tenyll Striker. However, on the third round it didn't get a chance to evade my attacks anymore. And now it all leaves to Xenith Monk and Tenyll Striker on the field. Good thing, Shadow Snitch was able to attack them but it was Cursed Windeku and its thorn ability causes the enemy to be out of the field, dealing a high damage to each cards.
Final Thoughts
I'm delighted we got our first look at a Chaos Legion monster, and I hope we get a lot more in the future because they're a lot of fun to play with. Shadow Snitch is a good card but he can be a decent one when you get to upgrade him even more. Nevertheless, I enjoyed using him in this battle! Click the link below.
