Hey hey everyone!
Anyone here who is excited that we are going to feature our very own dragons in this game?
Yup, it's me! I mean we are talking about dragons so I think I am pretty reasonable. Right? and dragons remind me of Toothless.
Anyways, the dragon that I chose in this theme was Drake of Arnak, RARE Dragon Summoner
Edition: UNTAMED
Rarity: RARE
Element: DRAGON
ABILITIES: This summoner offers a +1 shield/armor to all its monsters.
After Chaos Legion is launched, you will be able to employ Drake of Arnak as a Dragon Summoner in the modern format. The reason I loved dragon summoners so much is because you get access to all of the elements for various rulesets - which is quite useful most of the time.
Although this summoner's mana cost starts at 4 (rather than the standard 3 for other summoners), getting access to mix with other element's monsters while also getting +1 armor is ridiculous.
Rule Set
Standard - No modification to the standard gameplay rules and mechanics.
Mana Capacity : 30
Available Element : All Elements
The Team
I was actually frustrated with my battles because I was supposed to use life elements but then my opponents just know how to defeat it so I changed my tactics and used fire elements instead. Turns out that I just made the right decision for this one. Below is the position of each monsters and why I chose them.
Card | Description | |
---|---|---|
Living Lava-with a 7 mana cost, at first I was hesitate to summon this one but I push it through because of its high damage and shield that could protect my backline. | ||
Radiated Brute- her reach ability is useful on attacking the opponents despite of her position. She can surely cause damage to the foe. | ||
Serpentine Spy- I put this card on third position because of his opportunity skill. | ||
Fire Elemental- Its pretty obvious why I love this card. It has an effect of causing damage to the monster adjacent to its target. | ||
Spark Pixies- with its flying capability, this card has a high change of evading an attack so I put it on the fifth position. | ||
Ant Miners- These miners are great when used on long battles and I needed a low cost mana so I decided to have this on my team. |
My Opponent
Summoner:
General Sloan
Cloaks of defensive energy that had been cast above the city hadn’t even stopped her soldiers attack because she’d enchanted each and every missile, giving it the power to break through the veil and strike the defenders beneath.
Chaos Knight 1st | Truthspeaker 2nd | Pelacor Arbalest 3rd |
---|---|---|
Time Mage 4th | Stitch Leech 5th | Elven Mystic 6th |
With General Sloan as his summoner, all ranged attackers would gain +1. So if you can notice he has only Pecalor Arbalest as his ranged but could attack me twice each round. Meanwhile, the others like Truthspeaker gave him an additional +2 armor on his monsters, Stitch Leech with the sneak and Time mage to reduce my speed on the game.
Now, let's proceed with the match. On the first round my Living Lava was attacked severely and barely survived. However, on the second round I did a comeback because my Fire Elemental attacked Chaos Knight that made an effect to the adjacent monster (Truthspeaker) that was termanited and the +2 armor was gone in a constant. Due to that, the defense of my opponent was depleted and the battle was already in my hands and served me my victory.
