Here's an Idea to Spice up Splinterlands

in #spt3 years ago

As I was driving I had a wisp of an idea. Now mind you this just kind of popped in my head and is not a complete thought out process but I think it would be kind if cool.
In the NFT world seems like every project nowadays is boasting Polymorphs . Combine Card X with Card Y and get a better rarity . With Splinterlands becoming older and growing soon we will have all these different Editions of cards and like with anything things become stale. Or new ideas tend to stagnate. I was just thinking it would be a pretty cool idea to be able to Polymorph certain cards with other cards in the same splinter or if you cross breed it then becomes neutral. By breeding the cards you then Burn the current cards and that would then create the other cards to bump up in value. Now of course you would have to limit the cards that can breed and maybe limit the number of times one can do it and would have to set certain conditions in order to allow it .
- Cards would need to be level 10
- cards in same splinter produce a card of that Splinter
- Cards that are cross bred between splinters produce a Neutral Splinter Card
- Like with GFL cards a polymorphs lowest level would start at maybe 3.
- BCX carries over to the new Card (Don't know how burning the card would effect this overall)
- CP carries over with polymorph.

I thought this might be a cool idea it'd be neat to see how something like this would morph.
