Splinterlands / Immortal Creed collaboration

The Immortal Creed team would like to propose a collaboration with Splinterlands. This collaboration would allow Splinterlands players to purchase Immortal Creed First Edition Origins card packs with the Splinterlands native DEC token.

This collaboration would be mutually beneficial as it would give Splinterlands players exposure to another HIVE based web3 game using the DEC currency at its peg value of .001 and all DEC spent during the sale would be burned.

The sale would consist of 1,000 Origins packs purchasable in DEC at peg value for a period of 2 weeks. Origins packs sell for $2 each which would be 2000 DEC. The total DEC value of this collaboration would be 1000 x 2000 = 2,000,000 DEC to be burned. This would also give a small discount to the purchasers as DEC is currently below peg at the time of this writing.

These packs can immediately be opened and cards used for play in Immortal Creed, however a CREEDMARK (the equivalent of the Spellbook in Splinterlands) is required to earn in the game. Players may get a CREEDMARK by purchasing $4 of Creedits (400) in the Immortal Creed game shop. Those 400 Creedits can then be used to purchase 2 packs.

This would not require any work from the Splinterlands team as all sales would be done through the Immortal Creed game platform. So no development time or cost would be incurred by Splinterlands.

As Immortal Creed is a newer game on the HIVE network this promotional sale would establish a relationship between Splinterlands and Immortal Creed for further collaborations in the future. It would also give Splinterlands players exposure to another game on the HIVE blockchain.
