A bit later than usual, but here's my #Splinterlands weekly recap :) 🧵

🛖 The Town Hall happened this week and covered a lot of ground, including gameplay updates, teasers on future releases, and some talk about the recent exchange listing discussions. More on each big takeaway below.

⚔️ A new ruleset will be released next Tuesday which allows only neutral units (Shades of Gray).

🐲 The current conflict (Kei) will end in ~6 days, so the new conflict will be loaded in during the Tuesday release so it can start immediately when the current tone ends. The next conflict airdrop card will be Venka the Vile, AKA "the Grim Smith killer".

🛒 The current season is a bit longer than usual, and that's because the team extended it to end on April 2nd, which is when the new reward shop will go live. At that time, a new soulbound currency called "Glints" will be earned instead of chests, and will be used in the Glint shop to buy things like chests.

🎟️ A promo card linked to the #Bitcoin $BTC halving is targeted for April and there will be a proposal related to it coming in a post next week.

💁 Besides the above news, Matt mentioned several other interesting points during the TH, including that he hopes to resume hiring later this year. He also shared that the next focus areas for the team are one-click set rentals and a better onboarding experience.

🪙 Matt also talked about the recent exchange listing proposal, saying that in his opinion there's very little chance for $SPS to get listed before validators are live and SPS has its own chain. He's not opposed to the proposal, but seems to believe it won't happen despite the proposed budget. After the TH, the proposal was updated with various key amendments, including conditions for the NPE and validators to be completed, as well as a change to make it Binance only rather than CB or Binance.

⛳️ Meanwhile, there are many other proposals and pre-proposals currently live. We'll soon be going past 100 official community-voted proposals via the #splinterlands governance system, which is a huge achievement in my opinion. Most of the other active proposals have to do with adjustments to LP rewards.

🔥 About 500k $SPS has been burned in the last 7 days.

🤖 The Arcade Colony website is live, and pre-sale packs are live. So far ~20k pre-sale packs have been sold and ~30k remain.

The COLONY airdrop for $SPS stakers should begin in April.
