The 2018 Badminton World Championship ends today. Here are the results of the five final matches held in Nanjing, China, Sunday (05/08/2018).
The Japanese player, Kento Momota, appeared as the champion in the men's singles. Momota of becoming a world champion after beating his Chinese opponent Shi Yuqi with a score of 21-11 and 21-13.
Carolina Marin became world champion in the women's singles number. In the final match, the Spanish victory over Pusarla V. Shindu (India) 21-19 and 21-10.
In the men's doubles number, Li Junhui / Liu Yuchen (China) appeared as champions. Duet Li / Liu overcame the resistance of Takeshi Kamura / Keigo Sonoda (Japan) 21-12 and 21-19.
The title in the women's doubles number belongs to Japan. Mayu Matsutomo / Wakana Nagahara won a fellow Japanese duel against Yuki Fukushima / Sayaka Hirota through rubber-games 19-21, 21-19 and 22-20.
Meanwhile, Zheng Siwei / Huang Yaqiong won the All-Chinese Final in the mixed doubles. Zheng / Huang defeated Wang Yilyu / Huang Dongping 21-17 and 21-19.
Indonesia returned without a title from the 2018 Badminton World Championship. Greysia Polii's women's doubles / Apriyani became the best representative of Indonesia, namely through the semifinals.
