George chose to extend his contract with Thunder. Though George is the original figure from Los Angeles.
Related opportunities to join the Lakers, George open the vote. He claimed to have been tempted by the opportunity to play with the Lakers.
"It's really tempting, to be honest, I want to go back home, but, once again, I was released to Oklahoma, I love this situation, I'm happy with my current position, I decided to stay a little longer," said George. ESPN.
George decided to stay before any free agent negotiations began. So he did not have time to meet with the Lakers. He is comfortable on the Thunder and plays with Russell Westbrook.
