Wales will have to go on to the Argentinian Tour without their wing, Steff Evans after a knee injury ensured that he would be unavailable for the Two-test series.
Wales faced South Africa on Saturday in a match played in Washington where they came off victorious against the Springboks. However, it was during that same match that Evans was forced off the pitch.
In a statement made available to the press, the Welsh Rugby Union stated the obvious which meant will see the player being precluded from continuing with the team through the rest of the summer tour.
The WRU also noted that the player will have to return back to Wales where further investigations will be carried out so as to get an appropriate diagnosis and prognosis of the issue.
To replace Evans, Josh Adams, Worcester’s wing has been called up. Another Welsh player, Samson Lee is currently battling with a lower back injury and to cover up for him is Tomas Francis who has joined the squad recently.
Wales will face Argentina on Saturday in San Juan while the second Test comes up on June 16 in Santa Fe.
