So, the best team in football is hosting an QB who responded to his 5-INT, 0-TD performance last week by saying "maybe I just don't have it anymore."
I don't think we'll see another trainwreck from Big Ben this week, but I don't think the guy has enough in the tank to keep his team in reach of what this Kansas City offense can do. The Pittsburgh defense is good against the pass (5th in DVOA) but middling against the run (15th), and Kareem Hunt has been absolutely electric in his first season. Through 5 weeks he's totaled over 600 rushing yards and is 143 yards ahead of second place for the rushing title. Alex Smith has been playing the best football of his life right now and is in the conversation for the MVP. The guy has 11 touchdowns and has yet to turn the ball over.
The Chiefs' average margin of victory has been 10.6 points, they have yet to win a game by less than 7, and every team they've played so far has arguably been better than this Pittsburgh team. You could say that this is a trap game for the Chiefs--they're up against a team with talent that has been underperforming and is looking to make a statement. But this Chiefs team has consistently just found ways to win and win big.
