Manchester United has not been doing well in the premier league. Before the match between them and Liverpool, a lot went on social media. With the poor performance recorded by Manchester united in their past matches, the expectation was low, and very few people expected nothing good from Manchester United. Liverpool has not lost any game in the premier league this season.
They recorded a 100% win in all their 8 matches. They have a higher chance of defeating Mnachested united because they are in good form. One of my friends predicted 3 - 0 in favor of Liverpool. Though I knew that the red devils have not been up to their games, I never agreed to his prediction. I had a dream that United defeated them 2 – 0. When I woke, I smiled like a baby sucking her mother's Breast. Could that happen? I told my friend what I saw and they laughed at me. I also couldn’t help myself but laugh along. I wasn’t sure what could be the outcome of the match. Looking at their last 7 head to head matches, they both drew 5 matches and won 1 each. Since United is playing at home, I had the feeling that my dream could come through.
When the match started, I was optimistic. I watched with high hope. As the first half proceeds, I was glad as the red devils dominated in the first 15 minutes. At last Marcus Rashford converted James’s flank pass into a goal. I remembered my dream and kept the optimism high. After a while, Sadio Mane scored for Liverpool, but it was disqualified. At first, I thought my dream has crashed, but I felt relieved after the disqualification. The first half ended 1 nil.
The struggle continues in the second half. Liverpool played to score but was unable to hit the back of the net 35 minutes into the second half. I still held my belief that Manchester United might score 2 before the end of the second half, but to my perplexity, Lallana equalized, and that was when I realized that my dream had K-leg. I was automatically gentle on my couch. The match ended in a draw.
At least I saw 2 goals. Whether it was a goal apiece or not, My dream recorded two goals, so I'm not totally wrong. Smiles.
