The Lakers frachise has a lot of championships. The franchise is second to Boston on having the many championships. Bringing championships in this franchise was achieved by many players that are now called legends.
The legends who helped in bringing championships in LA includes the Logo, Jerry West, the Diesel, Shaquille O'neal, Showtime, Magic Johnson, the tower of Power, Kareem Abdul Jabaar, the Black Mamba, Kobe Bryant and many more. These players were all great and have been mentioned of being the greatest player of all time.
At present, Lebron James, who is the best player in the NBA right now have joined the Lakers. Lebron has brought championships to other teams. He won back to back championship with Wade and Bosh in Miami Heat. He gave Cleveland a championship with Love and Irving.
Last season, Lebron was not able to bring the Lakers to the playoffs because most players in the team are young and had trouble in injuries. In the upcoming season, now with stars Anthony Davis and Demarcus Cousins, Lebron has improved his playing style by playing all around.
Will Lebron bring another championship to LA and once again become a city of champions? Lebron's legacy is already great and perhaps, maybe he can join the Lakers legend group and have his jersey number retire.
