Things are going better for Arsenal and their manager Mikel Arteta. After Saturday's victory over Leicester in the Premier League, they have climbed to the top 6 and they have been undefeated since the 5-0 defeat to Manchester City in August. Although the Spanish manager has finally got the Arsenal team to play well again, it looks like he is still keen to pick up reinforcements when the transfer window reopens in January.
According to the Daily Star, the team from north London is planning to bid on Real Madrid's Luka Jovic. The media writes that Arsenal expect to part with their French striker, Alexandre Lacazette, in the new year, which has a contract expiration this summer. Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic could therefore be a suitable replacement for the Frenchman, after which Arsenal were supposed to be interested in a loan deal, which, however, will include a purchase clause.
