UEFA SUPERCUP WINNERS

And once again Congrats to Liverpool fc as they clinch the UEFA SUPERCUP TROPHY. UEFA supercup final is usually played by winners of both Champions league Europa league trophy. in this case, the game was between Liverpool and Chelsea football club and what is called all English final.

LIVERPOOL

Liverpool after losing to Manchester city in EPL final before the start of the season, they started the new season in a good note after thrashing newly promoted Norwich city four goals to one at Anfield. with that performance, they went to the game with full confidence and left for me, Klopp underrated Chelsea to some extent in his team selection. he included Oxe-Chamberlain who is not fully fit in his starting lineup and decided to put Alex-anold on the bench. both team play fantastic football with both missing apple opportunities in first half before Chelsea made it one goal ahead.

Sadio mane who missed there opening game in the league scored brace to give Liverpool chance to lift the trophy. Also Liverpool second goalkeeper Adrian who is stepping in for injured Allison have to made last penalty save for Liverpool to lift the trophy.

CHELSEA

Chelsea started the new season in a bad note as they were thrashed by four goals to nil in there opening game against Manchester united. many football fans was expecting an easy game for Liverpool but saw otherwise as Chelsea proved themselve despite losing some key players like Hazard.

Goal from Giroud in the first half but Chelsea ahead but was quickly equalized in the early second half by Mane, thanks to Firmino who came in the second half. Firmino provided assist again for Mane in extra time but Jorginho penalty kick made it 2:2 leading to penalty shootout.

Liverpool scored all there penalty but Chelsea was unfortunate to miss there last penalty kick. Abraham failed to convert his penalty kick to gift Liverpool the title.
