It was a shock when the news broke out that Tottenham Manager Mauricio Pochetinno was sacked on Tuesday night. He joined Tottenham last season when they aren’t too good to go far in the Champions League, and contend with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City in the premier league.
Last season was the best season for Tottenham in years. Pochetinno having joined them took them to the UEFA Champions League final last season defeating world-class clubs like Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City, and Ajax before losing to Liverpool in the final.
With coach Pochetinno, they performed brilliantly well last season. The 2019/2020 season seems different when they started losing matches and sinks below the table. The zeal they had last season dropped drastically, and their performance became a little awful.
Mauricio Pochettino had a good time last season, but this season is not so cool with him. Maybe this was as a result of not allowed to buy some players he had on his trail.
