Running is what matters most

This summer is very hot; sometimes the temperature reached 42℃. The region I live is around rivers and lakes, so the humidity is very high. Under the circumstance, running is an extremely unbearable thing. Even though it was hard, I still ran a half marathon once a week. To be honest, sometimes I felt not breathing smoothly while running. Anyway, I went through the period.

Autumn is coming; it's cool both in the morning and evening. Nowadays people are increasingly aware that health has an significant impact on living quality. As a result, once it's not hot, you can see many people doing exercise in the park. This morning I decided to run a long distance, because the temperature was just 22℃ and I need to do some trainings for the next marathon. When I was running on the road, there was few people outside, except one or two cars passing once in a while. Finally, I took 2h36 to finish the 28km. There was one thing that should be kept in mind: water and energy bar must be carried if running too long. After all, running is only based on physical health.

Tomorrow I will know if I can have the luck with the Shanghai marathon. Needless to say, I really hope there would be a good result; I like Shanghai very much and the committee is well known for their organization. Of course, if the expectation failed, I would not mind too much. As with me, running has already become a major part of my life.

About running, I share an experience with you: I feel less depressed and have a positive mindset. Maybe you can give it a try.
