It's tough when on a losing streak but I feel that you got the grasp on the hard part of DFS but you still got the "easier" stuff to learn.

In my opinion, it's much easier to learn to develop a routine where you check wheater and injury reports, to pick your player, than to learn how to run (or build!) an algorithm like yours. I got no clue how the top DFS get to project so accuratly ownerships.
