Zach Miller was injured on Sunday afternoon against the New Orleans Saints and it appears to be more serious than originally believed.
According to Chris Mortenson of ESPN, the Chicago Bears tight end currently has doctors trying to save his leg from being amputated after coming down on it during a non-touchdown catch in the endzone on Sunday.
Miller's career was already in jeopardy after the injury, but now he is in danger of losing his leg completely. Some around the league have compared it to the Teddy Bridgewater injury from 15 months ago, so hopefully a swift response can be had there to keep the leg in-tact as it was for him.
