India chief Virat Kohli, who prior missed the last T20 against the Proteas is refreshed for the Nidahas Trophy T20I tri-arrangement as Rohit Sharma will assume control over the rules of the side for the competition that highlights Bangladesh and hosts Sri Lanka.
Rohit Sharma will lead the 15-part Indian group for the competition which starts on March 6.
As indicated by Times of India, Kohli, alongside Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Hardhik Pandeya were offered a truly necessary reprieve as BCCI thought about the workload of the up and coming calendar.
India will confront Sri Lanka in the opening match of the arrangement before they play Bangladesh on March 8.
Other than Kohli and Dhoni, quick bowlers Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah and spinner Kuldeep Yadav were additionally prohibited from the squad.
