Grandissima finale tra Federer e Djokovic, con quest'ultimo che ha la meglio contro il campione svizzero e conquista l'edizione 2019 del torneo di Wimbledon.
Al termine di una partita tiratissima, Djokovic vince in cinque set con il punteggio di 7-6 1-6 7-6 4-6 13-12. Per lui si tratta del secondo successo consecutivo (l'anno scorso battendo in finale Kevin Anderson), il quinto della sua carriera.
