Not far away from the World Cup,the teams would have certainly started to take notes of each other's strength and weaknesses. It is no different for the top two ODI sides England and India.
Talking about England, they must be worried about their weakness facing spin twins from India. Considerably they have found it tough to score against Kuldeep Yadav. The chinaman already has 11 wickets against the hosts in span of just three matches.
Although the English skipper didn't find as a thing that could possibly hamper his team's success. According to Eoin Morgan, it is not a huge concern keeping in mind there is only one chinaman bowler. But they need to get the issue solved as will be facing India in the World Cup with both Kuldeep and Chahal in the playing 11.
India on the other hand are having a great run in the shorter formats. They have won 39 out of 50 matches since Virat Kohli took over the captainship. They have recently won the t20 series against the hosts.
Indian team: Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled before the start of match at Nottingham but with a short run up. If he is fit, Siddarth Kaul is likely to make way for him. Otherwise the team might remain unchanged.
England team: Alex Hales has been ruled out for remainder of the series with a side strain. As a result Root will continue to bat at number 3 and Ben Stokes will keep his place despite having an off day with the bat.
Date and Time: 14 July, 15:30 IST
Venue: Lord's Cricket Ground,London
My take on 2nd ODI: Must be an even contest with England lookong to bounce back

Despite their comments to the contrary, England are worried about this young wrist spinner. It will be a real test of their abilities and attitude to get the win today. On the other hand, India look very confident and have a balanced team. For them the real test might come if there is a change in the weather and we see more grass on the pitches and clouds in sky - can they handle the swinging ball?
I expect England to give a pitch with grass because 1) It could well nullify Kuldeep's effectiveness 2) It could test the Indian top order against the likes of David Willey who is a natural swing bowler and Mark Wood as well.
