The Bucks had a comfortable lead with 71-52 on the scoreboard into halftime. But that lead was reduced to just 1 point by a 35-17 run by the Knicks, including 13 points by Trey Burke in the third. The game stayed close until a game-ending 14-3 run by the Bucks, triggered by a Brook Lopez three-point play and a Middleton three-pointer. New Yorks´ last field goal made was just before the 2 minute mark, after that, they missed their last five shots from the field.
The all star Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 31 points and 15 rebounds, alongside Khris Middleton, who got 30 and 7. Bledsoe added a double-double of 16 points and 13 assists.
For the Knicks, Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 24 points, followed by Trey Burke with 19, Hezonja off the bench with 18, and a 14 point-13 rebound double-double by Kanter.
