Kimmich put Bayern Munich ahead with a close range shot just inside the box after Sergio Ramos failed to put out a cross from Muller which fell to the right back who gave navas no chance. It didn't take long for the galaticos to level up as a Karim benzema header made the scores 1-1 after recieving a lovely cross from Marcelo. Real Madrid took the lead in the second half after an error from the Bayern goalkeeper proved costly as benzema made it 2 -1, the game wasn't over yet as James Rodriguez who is on loan from Madrid levelled again for the Germans this time slotting under the on rushing navas. Both teams had their chances to kill the game with Ronaldo failing to score in both legs of the semi finals first time he hasn't scored in this year's Champions League campaign but it will be the Bavarians that will be wishing they converted their own chances knowing a goal without reply would send them through but they failed after so many attempts to beat the Real Madrid goalkeeper who was at his best to keep the score line level. In the end it was Real Madrid that will be heading to Kiev. Their victory today will mean three straight Champions League Finals for them and a chance to win it a third consecutive time breaking their previous record something no club has achieved.
