Here's my talking point about the match, sit back and enjoy the review.

1. Mohamed Salah get better everyday.

He doesn't need the media hype, Mohamed Salah has proven to the world of football that he could be a top performer week in week out. Consider his stats, he top goalscorer in Europe’s top five leagues with 43 goals. He’s five goals away from scoring more goals than any Liverpool player ever has ever scored in a single soeason. He’s the very first African player to nail 10 goals in a single Champions League season. He’s had in had in 56 club goals this season, with 43 goals and 13 assists. And its just his first season at anfield.396500eea0e09407fdd6d279ae7e7626.jpeg

A brace and two assists against his former club isn't a result you come nby every player. The way he moves the ball and understand the game is quite similar to that of Lionel Messi, permit me to call him the Egyptian Messi.

2.What was Di Francesco Thinking?

What on earth was Eusebio di Francesco thinking? He definitely didn't do his assignments well in his preparation for the Liverpool challenge. I doubt if he has watched Liverpool at all this season? He played with the same 3-4-2-1 system that he used in the miraculous comeback against Barcelona. I really consider him a genius for using that tactics against the great Barcelona and here why it worked. The 3-4-2-1 is a very good formation that is used to disrupt an opponents play and hold them high up the field and make them totally uncomfortable in the middle but these system doesn't work when your opposition has high flying pacy players on the wings. Rather it backfires and is used to exploit you. In the comeback against Barcelona, the tactic work because Barcelona declined to play dembele who was their fastest player, and the lack of pace gave Roma the advantage . in the case of liverpool it quite different ,they boast three top form pacy and attacking players upfront talk of Mohamed Salah, Firminho and Mane. Crap when dealing with those three, your defence has really got a hard bone to crack. These three were able to exloit the whole lot of place between Romas defence line and midfield with their pace.

Sure, they did make Liverpool uncomfortable for the first 30 minutes of the game as Liverpool could Ont cope with the pressure in the Roma Midfield. As soon as the midfield pressure starts to die down, Liverpool got back into the game and killed it off

3. Classical Firmino

Mo one has doned the false nine position so well since messi like firmino has done these season.Firmino jas a very predatory instinct to his game and these ha been a huge plus to Liverpool and his struck partners. So good at holding up play and bringing tigers into a good position in the opponents third half.he's been so majestic about his play that he cant be removed from the team.
Firmino has had more tackles than any one one the pitch in the match against Roma(three tackles won)dribbles affortlessly, effective at creating chances as at when needed and also scoring the goals when he's called upon.

Firmino now has 10+ goals in 11 games in this seasons champions league and making Liverpool the second club to have two players with 10+ goals in the same champions league season.

4. Dzeko Doesnt disappoint

Dzeko was isolated formbmuch of the period of the Roma game but hes proved lethal in recent game s that he could produce something out of nothing.

Edin Džeko has now scored in four consecutive Champions League knockout games:
️⚽️ vs. Shakhtar
⚽️ vs. Barcelona
⚽️ vs. Barcelona
⚽️ vs. Liverpool

As much as Liverpool defence tried to contain his threath, he's still manage to come through for his team on occasions that are dire. He's has giving his team a glimmer of hope with his effort and his goal could be instrumental to their possible comeback.

5. Liverpool can’t stop scoring

The Reds were 5-0 up and cruising after a very tight first half game with Roma, this show how strong this side are mentally and physically to withstand pressure and then punish their opponents.

Except Liverpool only know one way to play: and fast is the way, when tgey are not allowed to play this way, you kill their effect, but Roma couldn't hold them for long and they were punished for it.

Dzeko’s strike and Perotti’s penalty leaves the Giallorossi in with a genuine chance to turn things around in the second leg. Although Liverpool’s ability to play with pace on the break means that Roma’s best chance to turn this around may be to let Liverpool score first and get complacent enough to allow an intense comeback.

So what do you think?
Do you think Roma has achance gor a comeback ? Do share your opinion in tge comment section.
