Who's Hyped For This One?!

Coming into this I did NOT think I would get anywhere near as hyped as I am right now after seeing these two juggernaut personality's clash in Los Angeles yesterday and Toronto today, I am happy to say, I AM READY FOR THIS!

The Los Angeles Conference

Held at the staples center, the world tour kicked off with a massive crowd and exciting start in this city. At first we saw Boxing representatives take a real mono-tone and boring pace to conference, talking about things that nobody wanted to hear, everyone was waiting for May and Mac to finally clash. Finally after a long wait, the UFC President, Dana White is introduce and exclaims "WHAT'S UP LOS ANGELES!" with his face burning bright red, a momentous pace has finally been set, he introduces the Lightweight UFC Champion, Conor McGregor to the audience.

From the Get Go

It was obvious McGregor was the Face and crowd favorite coming into this. The crowd would go absolutely wild at everything McGregor did. Every move Floyd made, was met with a momentous roaring "BOO!" from the crowd. I was impressed though, both fighters made a fantastic appearence and had wicked speeches and taunts to throw at their opponent. At first I thought McGregor had Floyd a little stunned with his booming personality but once Floyd his the stage, it was obvious that nothing would stop the undefeated veteran from being "him" and also absolutely drilling into McGregor.

LA Conference Score - May - 1 Mac - 0 - May got the better half of Mcgregor!

This one had to end in an absolute win for Mayweather with getting the crowd chanting and bringing back the persona we all love to hate he showed the irishman why hes the best. He even managed to get Mcgregors Mic Cut! Both fighters were un parralled in confidence and one liners. It left us all wanting more - What's going to happen in Toronto!

The Beautiful Toronto

Somewhere I've always wanted to go - The people, the places, the food, it's all so gorgeous. The Toronto crowd was wild from the start! Showtime really know how to put on a good show with Live Music and even a surprise appearance from the famous Canadian Hip Hop artist, Drake. After the pageantry, McGregor is announced again and walks into the arena to his more than famous UFC Walk in song a great mix of Biggie and Irish Passion. Again, the crowd goes insane to Mcgregors music and walk in - This guy is a Superstar - He wins the crowds hearts in this one. Not long after, Mayweather walks in, hipping and hopping along to the heavy rap song he comes into, he's embracing the heel persona he is embracing being the Villian in all of this.

Straight Away It's On!

Floyd slowly walks upto McGregor and absolutely starts going off, McGregor meets him with his own booming ferocity.

It's serious, you can tell, both of these guys want to get the upper edge of winning the verbal assaults in these conferences. That mental edge can be absolutely massive in this fighting game, some say it's 90% mental 10% physical. We see them go head to head time and time again slinging insults and sledging each other. I think McGregors pure and unscripted confidence gains him the upper edge in this one. My personal favorite line was McGregores "When I count to 3, you say FUCK THE MAYWEATHERS! 1, 2, 3!" It was ferocious! - What did you think?

Conclusion For Now - May 1 - Mac 1 - Even for now.

This fight is without a second doubt, going to be the BIGGEST event in combat history, maybe ALL OF SPORTS HISTORY. It's also going to probably be the most gambled on event in human history too. As a Boxing and MMA fan, this is an absolute wet dream of a fight and I actually think McGregor stands a far larger chance at winning than many are giving him credit for. Mcgregor is going to win!

I really do believe he stands a chance - I think this could go either way 50/50!

It'll be entertaining, that's for sure. The vegas odds are still heavily on mayweather's side. I'm hoping the hype makes it less of a blowout on the odds so I can put money on Mayweather.

Hahaha yeah - I'm feeling the same way - I think the fight is far closer to 50/50 than people expect. We just need to look at what happens through history when a fighter returns against a young explosive powerhouse. Unless mayweather does what Ali did in the Rumble in the Jungle against Foreman. That was incredible.

One thing i know is this, I CANT WAIT for this fight! hahaha

Oh..I'm actually thinking it'll be a blowout in Mayweather's favor. I'm just hoping the hype brings the Vegas odds closer to 50/50.

Hmmm, I really want McGregor to win (I am such a huge fan) however, I gotta give it to Mayweather for having an absolute defense. Just my two cents, I think it will really be a close fight and McGregor will lose. Anyone disagree with me?

I agree it's going to be a close fight! People doubting on McGregor!

cant wait for this fight! I hope Mcgregor takes the W to create more hype

Same! Would be awesome.

Connor took the first two...Floyd is such a bad actor and only talks about having made a shitload of money, who cares about that when you're hiding behind rules? And talking nonsens about the gloves when he knows the athletic commission wont allow it, and stepping into the octagon which he would never do...he is all talk but wont be able to deliver anything against a real fighter

Great points. Floyd certainly talks about money a little bit too much.
