All About the Qatar 2022 World Cup Draw: highlights and schedules //Todo Sobre el Sorteo del Mundial Qatar 2022: impresiones y calendarios
Hello friends of Hive, today I want to share with you a little analysis about the draw for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, which took place on Friday April 1. The 8 groups of the maximum competition of world soccer that will start next November 21 are already conformed. There are 29 qualified teams and they allready know the path they will have to follow in the World Cup, just waiting for the 3 intercontinental playoff spots to be played next June.
Hola amigos de Hive, el día de hoy quiero compartirles un pequeño análisis acerca de El sorteo del mundial de Qatar 2022 el cual se llevo a cabo el día viernes 1 de abril por lo que ya se encuentran conformados los 8 grupos de la máxima competición del futbol mundial que arrancara el próximo 21 de Noviembre. Ya son 29 las selecciones clasificadas y que conocen el camino que deberán atravesar en el mundial, solo a la espera de los 3 cupos de repechaje intercontinental a disputarse el próximo mes de junio.
As in every World Cup after the draw, certain questions start to arise such as: Which is the group of death? In this analysis you will find the answers to all these questions and more!
Como en cada mundial después del sorteo empiezan a suscitarse ciertas preguntas como ¿Cuál es el grupo de la muerte? O ¿Qué potencia tiene el camino más fácil hacia una hipotética final?, en este análisis encontraras las respuestas a todas esas preguntas y mas!
Let's start with the first group, group A.
This group is formed by the host of the competition, the Qatar national team, which in recent times has left very good impressions, even winning the Asian Cup, all this under the guidance of the Spanish coach Felix Sanchez and his flagship players such as the Portuguese nationalized Qatari Pedro Miguel. Comenzaremos entonces con el Primer Grupo, el grupo A
Este grupo está conformado por el anfitrión de la competición el seleccionado de Qatar el cual en los últimos tiempos ha dejado muy buenas impresiones ganando inclusive la copa de asia, todo esto de la mano del entrenador españos Félix Sánchez y sus jugadores insignia como lo es por ejemplo el portugués nacionalizado catarí Pedro Miguel. A pesar de ser anfitrión y estar en un rendimiento nunca antes alcanzado la selección qatarí sigue siendo un rival no muy temible de enfrentar.

Luego encontramos a la selección Tricolor dirigida por el argentino Gustavo Alfaro un equipo que sorprendió con un rendimiento superlativo en las eliminatorias solo siendo superado por los 3 históricos de Conmebol (Brasil, Argentina, Uruguay) también cuenta con una camada de jugadores jóvenes liderad por el central de Bayern Leverkusen Piero Hincapie quien será una pieza fundamental en la defensa ecuatoriana y en sus aspiraciones de Clasificar.
We also find the selection of Senegal, a truly top team with a lot of European presence and very solid and also come from been crowned in the Africa Cup, led by the super crack of Sadio Mane this team looks like the strongest of the continent and with this squad will seek a milestone never before achieved as it is to qualify for the round of 16.
También nos encontramos con la selección de Senegal, un equipo realmente top con mucha presencia europea y muy sólido y que además viene de coronarse en la Copa África, liderado por el súper crack de Sadio Mané este equipo se perfila como el más fuerte del continente y con este plantel buscará un hito nunca antes logrado como lo es clasificar a los octavos de final.
Last but not least in this group we find the Netherlands, the mechanical orange team led by Louis Van Gaal, who will once again be present at the World Cup after being left out of the World Cup in Russia. With a very well structured team and a pair of elite central defenders, the Dutch team seeks to secure a ticket to the next stage of this competition, a task that does not seem very difficult for Van Gaal and his team.
Por último en este grupo pero no menos importante encontramos a la selección de los Países Bajos, la naranja mecánica comandada nuevamente por Louis Van Gaal. Logran presentarse nuevamente a la cita mundialista luego de quedarse fuera en el mundial de Rusia con un equipo muy bien estructurado y con una dupla de centrales de elite el combinado neerlandés busca asegurar un boleto en la siguiente fase de esta competicion, una tarea que no se ve muy difícil para Van Gaal y los suyos.
Group B
We find the English national team who after being left out in the semifinals of the last World Cup and losing the final of the Euro at Wembley will finally seek to get that second World Cup title so craved by the hand of his coach Gareth Southgate and stars like Kane or Sterling will seek to break through in a not so complicated group.

Encontramos a la selección Inglesa quienes después de quedar fuera en semifinales del mundial pasado y perder la final de la euro en Wembley buscara por fin conseguir ese segundo título mundialista tan ansiado de la mano de su entrendador Gareth Southgate y de estrellas com Kane o Sterling buscaran abrirse paso en un no tan complicado grupo
We continue with the Iranian national team led by Croatian Dragan Skocic, which saw its qualification in danger after losing a couple of very important matches, but managed to straighten its course and finally got its pass, it is a rather modest team that will try to surprise and get into a 4th match, although it looks quite difficult for them.
Seguimos asi con la selección iraní al mando del croata Dragan Skocic la cual vio en peligro su clasificación luego de perder par de partidos de suma importancia sin embargo logro enderezar su rumbo y en ultimas consiguió su pase, es un equipo bastante modesto que buscara sorprender y meterse a un 4º partido aunque se ve bastante difícil.
In Group B we also find the United States, a team that clearly has the best generation of players in its history and clearly Pulisic and company will be looking to qualify for the Round of 16, their main limitation is the lack of integration and association that has been seen in some of their recent games, although with so much quality on the field, they will probably make it through this group.
En este grupo B nos encontramos con Estados Unidos una selección que claramente goza de la mejor generación de futbolistas de su historia y claramente Pulisic y compañía buscaran clasificarse a los 8vos de final, su principal limitación es la falta de integración y de asociación que se ha visto en algunos de sus últimos encuentros aunque con tanta calidad en el campo posiblemente logren salir adelante en este grupo.
The last participant of this group has not yet been defined, there is still to be played the match between Ukraine and Scotland, where the winner will have to face Wales to decide the last place in this group.
El último participante de este grupo aun no se ha definido queda por disputarse el partido entre Ucrania y Escocia en donde el ganador deberá enfrentarse al seleccionado Gales para decidir el último cupo de este grupo.
We continue with group C where we find the Albicelestes, led by their captain, PSG star Lionel Messi and their coach Lionel Scaloni, who will be looking to round off a cycle that has been very successful so far, winning the Copa America on Brazilian soil and is also undefeated in 31 matches. This is a team to be taken into consideration since, despite not being full of stars as in previous World Cups, they have managed to consolidate a very well structured team that will surely be very difficult to break down.
Continuamos con el grupo C en donde encontramos al seleccionado Albicelestes de la mano de su capitán el astro del PSG Lionel Messi y su entrenador Lionel Scaloni buscaran redondear un ciclo que hasta la actualidad ha sido muy exitoso logrando coronarse con la Copa America en suelo Brasilero y que además carga con un invicto de 31 partidos, esta es una selección a tener en cuenta ya que a pesar de no estar plagado de estrellas como en mundiales anteriores ha logrado consolidar un equipo muy bien estructurado y que seguramente será muy difícil de derribar.
Then we find Saudi Arabia, a team that despite continuing to demonstrate in recent years that it is one of the most competitive in Asia, has failed to impose conditions in the World Cup and in this World Cup is likely to follow the same path than in previous editions.

The Mexican national team is also in this group. El tri del Tata Martino buscara superar por primera vez en las ultimas 7 ediciones el cuarto partido e instalarse en los 4tos de final, el tri es una selección que constantemente ha venido superando sin problemas la fase de grupo y en este mundial con un plantel plagado de jugadores experimentados buscara por fin llegar al tan ansiado 5to partido aunque en este grupo se encontrara con una muy dura selección polaca que probablemente se dispute con ellos ese segundo lugar asumiendo que Argentina quedara primera de grupo.

Despues encontramos un puesto que aun está vacante en donde la selección de Perú la cual logro colarse al repechaje de las eliminatorias Conmebol tendrá que enfrentarse en junio al tercero de Asia puesto que se disputa entre Australia y Emiratos Arabes Unidos.
As the third member of this group we find Denmark a team that left very pleasant impressions after the Euro and continued the good streak by qualifying with an impressive record of 9 consecutive victories this is a team that found in the accident suffered by Erikssen a motivation to move forward after losing its main star but the best thing is that the Dane is back! Como tercer integrante de este grupo encontramos Dinamarca una selección que dejo muy gratas impresiones después de la Euro y que continúo la buena racha clasificándose con un impresionante record de 9 victorias consecutivas este es un equipo que encontró en el accidente sufrido por Erikssen una motivación para salir adelante al perder a su principal estrella pero lo mejor del caso es que el danes esta de vuelta!! Asi que solo nos quedara por ver si logran consolidar un buen ataque que les permita avanzar a la siguiente ronda
The last member of the group is Tunisia, an African team that competes for the 5th time in a World Cup and will be looking for a surprise in this group trying to leave out one of the 2 great candidates that are France and Denmark, although frankly there does not seem to be much of a chance.
Como ultimo integrante del grupo esta la selección de Tunez una selección africana que compite por 5ta vez en un mundial y buscaran dar una sorpresa en este grupo intentando dejar fuera a alguno de los 2 grandes candidatos que son Francia y Dinamarca aunque francamente no pareciera haber mucha posibilidad.
And so we come to the long-awaited Group E, the Group of Death, so called because it will face two top-level teams, world champions and that in the last 15 years have dominated the international soccer scene.
Y asi llegamos al tan esperado grupo E el Grupo de la Muerte asi denominado desde ya por que enfrentara a dos selecciones de primerísimo nivel, campeonas del mundo y que en los últimos 15 años han dominado la escena del futbol internacional.
First of all we find Spain, Luis Enrique's La Roja is coming from some solid qualifying rounds, although in the last international competitions they lacked a bit of gasoline, being eliminated from the Euro in the semifinals and from the Nations League in the final. Luis Enrique's team will try to emulate what they achieved in the 2010 World Cup with a clear and quite identifiable game idea, although we will see what awaits them on the way, the first thing is to get out of the group of death, which seems quite feasible a priori.
En primer lugar encontramos a España la Roja de Luis Enrique viene de unas solidas eliminatorias aunque en los últimos certámenes internacionales les falto un poco de gasolina quedando eliminados de la euro en semifinales y de la liga de las naciones en la final. Los de Luis Enrique buscaran emular lo conseguido en el mundial del 2010 con una idea de juego clara y bastante identificable aunque veremos que les espera en el camino, lo primero es lograr salir del grupo de la muerte cosa que a priori parece bastante factible.
The second member of this group is a vacancy that will be disputed in June between the Costa Rican national team and the Oceania champion New Zealand..
Como segundo integrante de este encontramos una vacante que se disputara en juni entre la selección de Costa Rica y el campeón de Oceanía Nueva Zelanda

Tenemos entonces el tercer integrante de este grupo y es nada más y nada menos que la selección Alemana quienes vienen en deuda tras un rotundo fracaso en el mundial de Rusia y en la Eurocopa buscara volver a la gloria alcanzada en Brasil 2014 con un equipo plagado de jugadores importantes y de categoría en Europa en donde encontramos una mezcla de jugadores veteranos y juventud que podría darle a Alemania el recambio necesario para afrontar esta competición y competir al primer nivel como nos tiene acostumbrados esta selección.
As the last member of this group we find the always tough Japanese team that showed some irregularity on their way to the World Cup, however, towards the end they managed to even out and qualify without setbacks, and with the help of a group of experienced players in Europe, they will try to sneak into one of the two places that Germany and Spain seem to occupy at first glance.
Como ultimo integrante de este grupo encontramos a la siempre dura selección Japonesa que demostró cierta irregularidad en su camino al mundial sin embargo hacia el final logro emparejar y conseguir clasificar sin contratiempos buscara de la mano de una camada de jugadores experimentados en Europa colarse en uno de los 2 puestos que de buenas a primera pareciera que ocuparan Alemania y España.

Continuamos con el grupo F, su primer integrante es la selección de Bélgica con una de las platillas más poderosas del certamen de la mano de su técnico Roberto Martinez quien en su ultima oportunidad buscara poder conseguir la gran hazaña de coronar a esta “generación de oro” sin embargo muchas de las principales estrellas de esta selección han ido mermando su nivel como se puede ver en Hazard por ejemplo aun asi no todo son malas noticias ya que cuentan con grandes jugadores en forma como Courtois o De Bruyne ciertamente no será un camino fácil pero esta selección cuenta con los recursos futbolísticos para llegar lejos en este certamen y por que no? dar la sorpresa y coronarse, Veremos…

Encontramos asi en este grupo a Canada una muy placentera sorpresa ya que tenia 36 años sin clasificar, de la mano del talentosísimo Alphonso Davies y compañía buscaran emular lo realizado en las eliminatorias donde lograron salir primeros y dar la sorpresa y colarse al 4to partido.
In third place in this group we have Morocco, who had 20 years without participating until the World Cup in Russia and now they have qualified for the second consecutive time. Halilhodzic has continued to shape a team that has players of enormous quality such as Hakimi and although they lack experience in these events, they do not look like a very comfortable opponent to face, we will see how far Achraf and company can go.
En tercer lugar del este grupo tenemos a Marruecos selección que tenía 20 años sin participar hasta el mundial de Rusia y ahora de clasifica por segunda vez consecutiva Halilhodzic ha seguido dando forma a un combinado que tiene futbolistas de enorme calidad como Hakimi y a pesar de que les falta experiencia en estas citas no se pinta como un rival muy comodo de enfrentar veremos hasta donde le alcanza a Achraf y compañía.
Finally we observe in this group F the runner-up of Russia 2018 with a renewed squad in certain lines after the departure of certain referents of the national team, however despite this generational change they still has experienced players of first level and has an elite midfield with Modric, Kovacic and Brozovic capable of changing a game with a couple of passes and also has a Perisic at the highest level and also responds consistently, it remains to be seen if this team has enough to emulate what was achieved in 2018.
Por ultimo observamos en este grupo F a la Subcampeona de Rusia 2018 con un plantel renovado en ciertas líneas luego de que se marcharan ciertos referentes de la selección, sin embargo a pesar de este recambio generacional sigue contando con jugadores experimentados de primer nivel y cuenta con un mediocampo de elite con Modric, Kovacic y Brozovic capaces de cambiarte un partido con par de pases además cuenta con un Perisic en altísimo nivel y que además responde de manera constante, quedara por ver si esta selección tiene lo suficiente para emular lo conseguido en 2018.

The third member is the Swiss team that managed to qualify undefeated and also leaving out the 4 times champion Italy, they arrive in very good shape and with a consolidated midfield, their only doubt is the front line where they lack an imposing striker but undoubtedly they are a rival of care for any selection.
El tercer integrante es la selección de Suiza equipo que logro clasificarse de manera invicta y además dejando fuera a la 4 veces campeona Italia, llegan en muy buena forma y con un mediocampo consolidado, su única duda es el frente de ataque en donde carecen de un delantero imponente aunque sin dudas son un rival de cuidado para cualquiera selección.
Finally we see the Cameroon national team who achieved an agonizing qualification with a goal in 124' leaving out Algeria, this Cameroon is far from being the best version we have seen, however it is a compact team that will seek to surprise and sneak into the round of 16 as they did for the only time to date in Italy 90.
Por último vemos a la selección de Camerún quienes lograron una clasificación agonica cpn un gol en el 124’ dejando afuera a Argelia, esta Cmaerun esta lejos de ser la mejor versión que hemos visto sin embargo es un equipo compacto que buscara dar la sorpresa y colarse a los 8vos de final como lo lograron por única vez hasta la fecha en Italia 90.
In the last group, Group H, we observe the Portugal national team led by Cristiano Ronaldo and with a large number of talented players around him such as Jota, Silva, Fernandes, Joao Felix, they come after winning without much trouble in the playoff against Macedonia. En el último grupo el Grupo H observamos a la selección de Portugal comandada por Cristiano Ronaldo y con una gran cantidad de jugadores talentosos a su alrededor como Jota, Silva, Fernándes, Joao Felix, vienen tras ganarle sin mucho problema en el repechaje a Macedonia. Cristiano y los suyos buscaran coronar una generación muy talentosa y que en el ultimo torneo internacional que disputaron quedaron en deuda tras caer en 8vos, veremos si tienen lo necesario para que Cristiano consiga el único titulo que le falta en su palmares.
In second place is Ghana, an African team with quite interesting names led by Partey, who come from a poor collective performance and a resounding failure in the Africa Cup after falling in the group stage. We will see if they can repeat the feat of the 2010 World Cup where they managed to advance surprisingly to the quarterfinals.
En segundo lugar esta Ghana selección africana con nombres bastante interesantes encabezada por Partey y quienes vienen de un rendimiento colectivo deficiente y de un rotundo fracaso en la Copa Africa tras caer en la fase de grupos observaremos si logran repetir la hazaña del mundial 2010 donde logro avanzar sorpresivamente hasta los 4tos de final.
In third place we find Uruguay, a team that will be looking to spend the last available cartridges of a generation of impressive players led by strikers Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani. With their new coach Diego Alonso they have shown themselves as a renewed team with a fresh idea of play, certainly Uruguay is not among the first favorites but they are still a historical team that adds a lot of quality in their squad and that always fights until the end, so we cannot rule them out, we will see how far they can go.
En tercer lugar encontramos a Uruguay una selección que buscara gastar los últimos cartuchos disponibles de una generación de jugadores impresionantes encabezados por los delanteros Luis Suarez y Edinson Cavani. Con su nuevo técnico Diego Alonso se han mostrado como una selección renovada con una idea de juego fresca ciertamente Uruguay no esta entre los primeros favoritos pero igual es un histórico que suma mucha calidad en el plantes y que siempre da pelea hasta el final asi que no podemos descartarlos veremos hasta donde llegan.
The last team that makes up the 32 teams of the World Cup is South Korea, Asian team that in recent years has been a regular in this competition but always fall short in the first round, Son Heung-Min's hand will try to twist history and sneak into this group that a piori seems dominated by Portugal and Uruguay.
El ultimo equipo que conforma las 32 selecciones del mundial es Corea del Sur, equipo asiático que en los últimos años ha sido un habitual de esta competición sin embargo siempre se quedan cortos en la primera ronda, de la mano de Son Heung-Min intentaran torcer la historia y colarse en este grupo que a piori parece dominado por Portugal y Uruguay.
