In the past week, many teams have been involved in numerous trades, like usually happens every season just before the trade deadline. Today I´m going to talk about how those teams that were active in the past month an change some of their players looks for the remained of the season.

Let star with the Brooklyn nets, even though it´s been two months since they acquired Jahil Okafor it´s a move that could be very interesting if they give him enough play time. He can become an offensive weapon thanks to his amazing post game. That meant that they had a logjam in the center position which required Tyler Zeller to be traded to the bucks. They Also got Cunningham from the Pelicans.

The Boston Celtics recently added to their team Greg Monroe who reportedly preferred to join this team than the pelicans where he could star, in order to hunt for a title, This guy is a very skilled big man and like Okafor lacks of defensive skills but I know this team can have a use for him to help them in the playoffs.

The charlotte Hornets have now an underrated but very competent center in Willy Hernangomez who showed last year that can give some quality minutes in the league as a backup for Howard. The Chicago Bulls got fid of a locker-room problem trading away Mirotic and waived the acquired Tony Allen who is set to join a contender.

Then We get to the team everybody is talking, the Cleveland Cavaliers they basically change their entire backcourt to get a younger and more athletic one, now with George Hill as their starting point guard and having Hood, Nance and Clarkson coming from the bench they hope to resolve their chemistry issues, and improve the defense side of their game. I thought previous to this season that getting Wade, Rose and an injured defense liability as Thomas wasn’t a good combination.

Dallas and Denver in a three way trade with New York basically addressed their needs. The Mavericks took one of theirs points Guards to replace for a true Wing in McDermott (I´m really tired of Carlisle Three guards lineup) While The Nuggets Decided to go with Murray as their point guard for the future and Adding a reliable Backup In Devin Harris.

The Detroit Pistons Made a huge Impact few days before the deadline Acquiring Blake Griffin from The Clippers to get a star to pair with their center Drummond. With that move let Reggie Bullock and Stanley Johnson to be their Titular SG and SF, even with Ennis those are positions that should improve if they want to be contender in the East Conference.

The Clippers In that same Griffin Trade got Tobias Harris a versatile Forward and a defensive minded Avery Bradley to strength their backcourt weakened with the lost of Paul in the offseason, This team now is in a middle of a possible reconstruction, letting go the stars that put the other LA team but it´s not clear the direction of these movements.

The Lakers Are making choices about who do they want in the future, With many young and promising players the team with their latest movement that the core of Ball, Ingram, Kuzma and Randle is the one who is going to represent LA for possible a lot of time, letting go Clarkson and Nance, (along with Russell in the offseason) With Thomas more likely to go after the season on order to chase some stars.

Miami´s welcome back to Wade seen to be the last chapter or that amazing player, with no more impact in the league. New Orleans got Mirotic to replace some of the production of injured Cousins. But still don´t have a good small forward. While The Knicks are trying out Mudiay for their starting Point Guard spot hoping he can match the expectations he came to the league with and also added O´Bryant to replace Hernangomez.

The Orlando Magic decided that Payton was not their point guard for the future and sent him to Phoenix where he´s going to take minutes to Tyler Ulis and possible start over him. Philadelphia has chosen the ones they´re going to trust in the “Process” it´s clear that Embiid, Simmons, Saric and Fultz became a sure bet for their future, since the offseason they part ways with Noel And Okafor to unload their frontcourt, replacing them with role players like Booker, Anderson and now signing Belinelli.

Sacramento did the right thing in getting rid of George Hill in a reconstruction team like this is fair to give all the minutes they can to Aaron Fox in order to develop him they also took and waived Joe Johnson who expects to join a contender. Utah Is adding depth in the small forward position with Jae Crowder.

Teams like Golden State, San Antonio, The Rockets and the raptors didn´t do important moves and maintain their roster yet but maintain as contenders for the playoff.

Gracias por leerme, este es mi deporte favorito, tambien veo otros pero es el que más me gusta, lo empecé a seguir poco antes de la época de los lakers, por lo que pude ver a esos equipos en sus mejores años.
