The NFL year officially starts March 14, but free agent frenzy has already started.

The league made a rule a few years ago allowing teams to talk to agents of players in hopes of hammering out new contracts with new teams. Though players cannot offically sign the contracts until March 14, everything can be put into place before then. And boy has their been leaked news of big names switching teams. Some of the highlights are:

  • Kirk Cousins signing with Minnesota Vikings
  • Allen Robinson signing with Chicago Bears
  • Sammy Watkins signing with Kansas City Chiefs
  • Jarvis Landry traded to Cleveland Browns
  • Marcus Peters traded to L.A. Rams
  • Alex Smith traded to Washington Redskins
  • Ndamakong Suh released by Miami Dolphins
  • Malcolm Butler signing with Tennessee Titans

...and this is just the beginning.

So much more is expected to happen in the upcoming days. The landscape of the NFL is going to look drastically different. Teams that were .500 or worse have a great chance of improving their record and possibly even making the playoffs after the moves they've made or the moves they will make.

As an NFL fan, I'm truly excited for the new nfl year and look forward to an action-packed season.

Go Dolphins!

I'm pretty jazzed we (the Bears) got Robinson! If he can put those numbers up with Bortles, imagine what he and Trubisky are going to do once they build their rhythm together. Bear Down!!!

@geoffreydemars Yeah that was definitely a nice pickup. They are also adding speed in taylor gabriel and potential with Trey Burton. Chicago already has a solid defense, so these additions on offense will take take them to a new level. That is if they can ger some consistency on the offensive line. I'm not sure how good of a coach Nagy will be, but anything is better than Fox over the past few years.

What do you think the Dolphins plan is for qb? Will they try to draft one this year?

@noahdexter1000 Im hoping they can somehow get Roquan Smith or Minkah Fitzpatrick with their first pick amd then go QB or TE in the second round. I think Tannehill will be ok this year so there is no need to waste a chance at getting a solid player in the first. Knowing the dolphins, they'll most likely trade away all their picks to move up and draft Mayfield, thus screwing themselves over for the next few years. Here's to hoping they don't...

Yeah! Teams that were .500 or worse have a great chance of improving their record and possibly even making the playoffs after the moves they've made or the moves they will make.

hopefully your team has improved and good luck always, congratulations to enjoy my friend
