Moto GP-Grand Prix Czech Republic 2018: Marc Márquez cautious spectator before dispute Dovizioso vs Lorenzo

Yesterday you could enjoy one of the most exciting races so far in the 2018 Moto GP calendar, where you could see the fight for the first place, between Andrea Diovizioso and Jorge Lorenzo, while Marc Márquez remained as a cautious spectator , aware of the power of the two Ducati, fast and with better stability in braking, which was demonstrated with the final results.

Certainly what could be seen with the comments made by Dovizioso and Lorenzo in the week before the race on social networks, really shows that far from being a personal dispute between them goes further, the quest to ensure the pass to the next season in a more privileged position before the change of constructor, in the specific case of Lorenzo, when leaving for Honda, we could see them with the intention of improving his current position in the championship. On the other hand, in the case of Dovizioso, the Ducati would be right to keep the rider in their ranks for the next season.

It must be acknowledged that Marc Márquez, after reaching 100 MotoGP races, achieves sufficient maturity to control his emotions on the track beyond his impulses, demonstrating this weekend in Brno, while remaining calm:
Marc Márquez:

"Our goal for this weekend was to increase our lead in the championship and we achieved it. We arrived here with 46 margin points and we're going with 49, that's a very positive thing. Since yesterday I expected Lorenzo and Dovizioso to be strong rivals, maybe I also expected Valentino [Rossi] to be there. All of them have been ahead today. I was prepared to fight, but honestly, it was difficult against the two Ducati, as they have a strong acceleration and stability when braking. I tried it but it was not possible, so we take this third position for good. Today was my 100th race in MotoGP and I have used the experience that this time has given me. If it had been my second or third race I would have gone for the victory, and I would have achieved it or ended up falling. But it is my centenary and I have used reason. Third is my worst result this year, of the races that I have finished, so I am happy because this is a track where we normally suffer but, finally, we have been very close to those in front. I'm calm, better tracks will come.
