Houston eliminated Utah from the playoffs with their 112-102 victory tonight. Chris Paul lead the Rockets again with 41 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds and all with no turnovers. CP3 shot an amazing 8 of 10 from 3 point land. PJ Tucker shot 5 of 7 from downtown to help him earn his 19 points. This was the second straight game that Paul lead the Rockets as Harden was held to modest numbers, only putting up 18 points tonight.
Now it's the time we've all been waiting for: Rockets vs Warriors. The Rockets will have home court advantage but they will have their hands full dethroning the defending champs. The two teams met 3 times this season. The first game of the season featured Houston winning 122-121 at Golden State. The two teams split a pair of games played in Houston in January.
This promises to be a great series. This will be the toughest test the Warriors have had to make it to the Finals since they trailed 3-1 against the Thunder. If CP3 can play as well as he did tonight and Harden matches him, we could have a new Western Conference Champion this year.
