College Football Playoff - Alabama Crimson Tide vs Georgia Bulldogs

College Football Championship, January 8, 2018 at 8:00pm EDT.

The Alabama Crimson Tide was the better team in the semi-final game against Clemson. The game was close in the first half. Halftime score favored the Tide by 10 - 3. Clemson scored another field goal to make it 10 -6. The remainder of the game was slow and the Alabama defense proved too much for Clemson's quarterback. The Tide came in with a questionable 4th position, but came out over the No.1 Clemson. So, Alabama has proved itself to reach the championship game.

The Georgia Bulldogs outlasted the Oklahoma Sooners in their semi-final game. The Sooners looked like the better team in the first half, with a halftime score of 17 -31. Georgia scratched out two touchdowns in the 3rd quarter to tie the game 31 - 31. In the 4th, it looked like the final possession may decide the game, with touchdown after touchdown, ending regulation in a tie 45 - 45. In the first overtime session, both teams scored a field goal. In the second overtime session, the Bulldogs blocked the field goal. The next series was finalized with Touchdown. Georgia fought through a tough game to reach the championship game.

The Tide will hold the Bulldogs to limited scoring in the first half, while the Tide will roll toward a couple of scoring drives. The Bulldogs will be down and will force a few passes, making bad decisions causing an interception and a couple of fumbles. The Alabama defense will roll over the Bulldogs offense and get a couple of fumble recoveries and an interception. The Alabama offense will get great field position due to the defense and will score at will.

The Alabama Crimson Tide will win this one.

That's my prediction with the Alabama Crimson Tide for the WIN and the College Football Championship.
