Gonzalo Higuan found the back of the net about 144 times in 238 appearances in all competitions at Napoli. As such compared to Karim Benzema whom has scored 101 goals from 215 matches at an average goals of every 2.13 games and of which Higuan has an average goals of 1.65 games.
When Higuan was in Madrid, they both are quit close in numbers with Benzema edging it by one goal. I think Higuan plays better than Benzema, if he was still there it could have been more preferable to Benzema. Though i am not saying Benzema is not doing his best at Madrid, for he has provided about 58 goalscoring opportunities for his teammates and while Higuan has provided just 35. But the question is if Higuan was at Benzema's position at Madrid, will he had been better than Benzema?

I have watch Benzema so desirable over the years at Madrid, he has been working so hard to put other players through, such as Christiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, this two has enormously benefitted form Benzema's efforts.
Though at this season Karim Benzema has not been at his very best, he has scored just eight times in 33 appearances. I think because of this, it looks like Karim Benzema will sold in the summer so that Madrid can bring in a new face to take over the illustrious No. 9 shirt.
For me I would say higuain is better than benzema,when it comes to scoring goals,the stats is evidence,benzema was just favour by the coach and president,higuain is better,Ronaldo scores about 70 percent of Madrid goals.
I seriously think that Benzima and Higuain both have the same qualities and defects, the last days of HIGUAN in real madrid were similar to those of BENZEMA today, however, I am optimistic about the future appearances of BENZEMA
